Epic Explorer Workshop (Year One and Year Two)

As part of our History curriculum for Key Stage 1, we have arranged for an in-school Epic Explorers workshop by Jeffrey Andrews on Monday 23rd March.

Epic Explorers will teach various activities which aims to:

• Introduce the role of an explorer and discover what Christopher Columbus and Neil Armstrong achieved.
• Compare and contrast their lives and work to make connections.
• Create artwork inspired by images from space exploration using collage and mixed media.
• Launch an astronaut into space in teams of three.

The workshops will take place within the school day so children should arrive and be collected at the normal times.

Each year group will participate in a ½ day session. School will meet most of the cost of the workshop and we are asking for a contribution of £3 per child to be received by Friday 20th March. Payment should be made via ParentPay.
