Following on from the success of our new after school clubs, we are introducing a stretch & flexibility class led by Cassie from the Icon Dance Academy.
This club will provide an opportunity for children build on their balance and coordination skills in a safe environment with a qualified coach. The coaches are certified, safeguarding trained, DBS checked all with backgrounds in education and community engagement.
Children will need to bring their own suitable clothing to wear.
The club will run from 3:10pm until 4:15pm on the following dates:
Breakfast Club
The breakfast club provision will provide a balanced breakfast. The after school provision will provide a balanced snack but this is not a substitute for an evening meal.

From Tuesday 22nd April until Tuesday 20th May Cockburn Haigh Road Academy is offering a fantastic opportunity for children to engage in a school drama club lead by Miss Bradbury.
CHRA Drama Club will be an incredible way to introduce our young people to the world of drama. Miss Bradbury, a music and drama specialist, will be leading performance-based activities and games influenced by The Royal Opera House and her own professional experience. Children will learn how to express themselves, gain confidence and develop respect for their own and each other’s individuality.
This afterschool club will focus on:
1. Wellbeing
2. Confidence
3. Communication
4. Last but by no means least … FUN!

Following on from the success of the roller-skate sessions in the Autumn term, we are introducing an afterschool roller-skating club led by Lottie from LS-TEN and the Skate Scholarship.
This club will provide an opportunity for children build on their balance and coordination skills and a safe environment with a qualified coach. The coaches are certified, safeguarding trained, DBS checked all with backgrounds in education and community engagement.
What will the skate sessions involve?
The children will learn how to stand and balance in skates before progressing onto safe movements. They will also learn simple ways to stop and control their movements. The sessions will be fun and include different games and activities.
Roller-skates and safety equipment will be provided for the sessions. This will include: helmets, knee pads and wrist guards. Children will need to bring their own suitable clothing to wear.
The club will run from 3:10pm until 4:15pm on the following dates:
