Once children become more confident readers, with guidance from classroom staff, they choose their own books. We have introduced more diversity into our selection and the children help us to decide what to buy.
We have introduced 'Ready, Steady, Write' for Reception and Years One and Two. The programme supports progression and provides plans and resources for exciting and purposeful units of work.
